I am pleased with the growth; it seems like the plant is getting enough sun.

Not to myself: start a bit earlier next year. But as the weather has been cold, I never got going until late in the spring with my cucumber this year.

Daily pepper harvest

Pepper harvest in preparation for making my pepper salsa.

I posted an article on making my Scotch Bonnet Salsa and Sauce, but any peppers can be used. YouTube video here.

For this batch, I will use jalapenos, vindaloo and Padron peppers.

San Marzano tomatoes are a favourite and make the best sauce.

Sungold cherry tomatoes  ripening on the vine

Cherry tomatoes growing in pots and containers were among my first loves in the garden.

And I am happy to report that the feelings are still there.

Here is a bunch of beautiful sungold cherry tomatoes showing a slight kiss of that golden colour that will soon light up our garden.
