February tends to be cold, but we have sunny days with mild temperatures followed by frost, snow, and freezing temperatures. It is a time of year to be patient over here.
We have started some tomato and peppers plants indoors. Not like last year when I started too many plants too early. Caring for medium-sized tomato plants indoors is tricky when the outdoor temperature keeps fluctuating.
Indoor gardening activities included starting chervil, oregano, coriander (cilantro), and basil varieties.
We also planted horseradish, ginger, and turmeric plants. Horseradish is planted in a container placed indoors for now, whereas ginger and turmeric rhizomes are first sprouted indoors.
Happy gardening!
